Any improvements at the border, where wait times are reduced and capacity is increased, are going to have a huge impact on the industry. This will also affect the regional economy. For instance, it will stimulate growth in the Rio Grande region, which has the busiest fresh food border crossing in Pharr – Reynosa Bridge.

I look forward to the successful completion of this amazing project on the Anzaldua International Bridge. This will make the crossing more effective by reducing wait times for dry goods, especially those that are urgent and currently must wait behind a produce truck.
